How COVID-19 creates more educational opportunities than it dismantles

The advent of coronavirus has undoubtedly reshaped the educational landscape across the globe. From forcing students in front of their screens to making in-person educational courses redundant, safe to say, ‘education’ is forever reformed. Almost every day, you see someone lamenting the destructive power of this infectious illness. While there’s definitely much damage done, there’s also an evident silver lining.

For the most part, COVID-19 has proven that online study is incredibly viable even when countries enter a state of emergency. Instead of waiting for the havoc to subside and suffer massive interruptions, education no longer has to be halted. Of course, this is extremely conditional and based on global privilege. Functional digital devices and a stable internet connection are an absolute must.
